Kathmandu. Title contenders Iran are playing against Sri Lanka in the ongoing Kava Women’s Nations League in Kathmandu. Iran and Sri Lanka have won two sets each. The final set is a tough fight to get the winning result.
Both the teams who lost in the first game are aiming to get their first win. In the opening match on Thursday, the Sri Lanka home team lost to Nepal in straight sets. Similarly, India defeated Iran in a 3-1 set. After winning a set against India, Iran is aiming for its first victory by defeating Sri Lanka.
In the next match, India will play against Maldives. This match will start at 5:30 PM at Rakhep Covered Hall. After defeating Iran in the first game, India is in high spirits. Among the five participating teams, the relatively weak Maldives is playing its first match in the tournament. After the league stage matches, the top four teams will enter the semi-finals.
