Kathmandu. In the semi-final match of the ACC Premier Cup Cricket Tournament, Kuwait took three wickets from Nepal.
After winning the toss, Kushal Bhurtel and Asif Sheikh opened the innings against Kuwait, who invited Nepal to bat. Kuwait won the toss and invited Nepal to bat in the toss at TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.
Nepal’s opener Kushal Bhurtel got out after scoring 43 runs off 39 balls. He scored well with one six and seven fours. Bhim Sarki, who came after that, got out after scoring only one run in 4 balls. Another opener, Asif Shaikh, got out after scoring 31 runs off 28 balls. Now captain Rohit Paudel and Kushal Malla are at the crease.
Nepal, the winner of Group A, is competing against Kuwait, the runner-up of Group B. Similarly, the competition is going on between Group ‘A’ runner-up Oman and Group ‘B’ winner United Arab Emirates (UAE) at Mulpani Cricket Ground.
The winning team between Nepal and Kuwait and Oman and UAE will play the final. The winner of the tournament will get to play in the Asia Cup.
