KATHMANDU: The foreign exchange rates for today (Monday) have been released by Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB). The value of the majority of other foreign currencies, such as the Euro, Pound, Australian Dollar, and Dinar, has decreased, but the US dollar has remained strong.
As of right now, 133.71 rupees is the purchasing rate and 134.31 rupees is the selling rate for one US dollar. This rate, which has not altered since yesterday, is the highest for the US dollar ever noted.
Right now, one Euro is worth 145.86 rupees when purchased, and 146.52 rupees when sold. The buying and selling rates were 144.88 and 145.53 rupees, respectively, yesterday.
One British pound is worth 171.14 rupees at the buying rate and 171.91 rupees at the selling rate. The buying and selling rates were 170.46 and 171.23 rupees, respectively, yesterday.
As of right now, one Australian dollar is worth 87.05 rupees when purchased, and 87.44 rupees when sold. These values were 87.10 and 87.49 rupees, respectively, yesterday. One Kuwaiti dinar is worth 437.89 rupees when purchased, and 439.86 rupees when sold. The purchasing and selling rates were 437.79 and 439.76 rupees, respectively, yesterday.
One Bahraini dinar is worth 354.67 rupees at purchase, and 356.26 rupees at sale. The exchange rates from yesterday were 354.72 and 356.31 rupees, respectively.
