Putin’s warning : After the explosion on the bridge connecting Crimea with Russia, Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that he will take revenge. Putin responded that the bridge was seriously damaged by “terrorist actions” in Ukraine.
He said that the Russian army is preparing a proper response to the Ukrainian attack on the bridge. The bridge damaged by the explosion is important from the point of view of transporting military materials. The bridge was built by Russia.
Putin said that special proposals are expected to strengthen the security system of the bridge and to protect strategic and important transportation facilities.
Russia said a naval drone attack on the underwater part of the bridge killed a couple and injured their daughter.
After the attack, Russia issued a statement clarifying that there was no connection between the explosion on the bridge and the decision to cancel the grain export agreement.
