Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank ( NRB ) has increased the transaction limits of dollar and foreign currency under various headings. Recently, by issuing a unified directive, the dollar limit for foreign studies, foreign visits, etc. has been increased.
According to the instructions, now Nepali citizens can do foreign currency transactions ( exchange ) worth 5000 US dollars. Earlier its limit was only 500 dollars. However, now, based on the customs proof, it has been arranged to provide a facility of up to 5,000 dollars.
However, the foreign currency transaction limit for gifts and tips received from foreign friends and clients is limited to $500. This is the unified circular revised by the state.
