Kathmandu . The meeting of the World Nepali Literary Foundation of Province 1 of Nepal has been concluded. An 11-member provincial committee has been selected under the chairmanship of Niru Gautam, the creator of Morang Belbari.

Radhika Guragain, Morang and Lata Poudel, Ilam; Also, Ramesh Chandra Adhikari of Dhankuta has been selected as the general secretary. Similarly, Secretary Suresh Kafle Bidarak (Sunsari) and Treasurer Kavita Rai (Bhojpur) have been selected.

The members are Chandrakala Adhikari Panchthar, Madhav Pokharel Udaipur, Jai Prasad Acharya Jhapa and Tara Bahadur Budhathoki Sankhuwasabha.

Speaking on the occasion, Janardan Adhikari Dhadkan, Central Chairman of the World Nepali Literary Foundation, said that the foundation was formed to connect the authors and readers of Nepali language and literature around the world. He said that the campaign started from Nepal would become a non-profit organization working for the overall development of Nepali language and literature.

Khagendra Basyal, head of the foreign department of the foundation, clarified that the work of social change can be done through literature by adding his past experience. He said that he was preparing to form the State Department.

Gandaki State Chairperson Laxmi Prasad Mishra wished the newly formed committee of State 1 to be number one for its excellent work.
Speaking on the occasion, Radhika Guragain and Lata Poudel, vice-chairmen of the newly formed committee, Ramesh Chandra Adhikari, general secretary and Suresh Kafle Bidarak, secretary, said that they would fulfill their responsibilities sincerely.

Authors including Central Chairperson Adhikari, Secretary Manish Kumar Sharma, Joint Secretary Savita KC, Korea Department Coordinator Shobha Kadaria Koirala, Art Akulin, State General Secretary Ramesh Chandra Adhikari and Member Tara Bahadur Budhathoki recited the composition.

The program chaired by State 1 Coordinator Niru Gautam was conducted by Shiva Khanal, Central General Secretary of World Nepali Literary Foundation and Program Coordinator.
